چکیده

We present the first documented case of metastatic melanoma to orbit with dedifferentiation. A patient a history lip and other poorly differentiated carcinomas presented both sub-brow an intraorbital mass. Radiographically intraoperatively, mass communicated via perineural spread along supraorbital nerve. Histopathology confirmed diagnosis based on melanocytic markers, SOX-10 Melan-A; dedifferentiation was demonstrated within orbital tumor. Two weeks following surgical debulking, returned its full size. Local radiotherapy immunotherapy were performed, which initially led dramatic improvement; however, succumbed his systemic metastases six months later. Dedifferentiation serves as prognostic indicator should be considered in patients when histopathology does not lead definitive diagnosis.
